Publication Ethics
JEMTRAMAS (Journal of Community Service and Community Partnership) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all reasonable measures to prevent publication malpractice. This ethical statement applies to all parties involved in the journal publication process, including authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher.
This policy is established to ensure credibility, transparency, accountability, and integrity in scholarly publishing and to comply with national journal accreditation standards.
Ethical Standards and Responsibilities
1. Authorship and Originality

Submitted manuscripts must be original works and have not been published or submitted elsewhere.

All individuals listed as authors must have made significant academic or practical contributions to the community service activity and manuscript preparation.

Any form of plagiarism, data manipulation, fabrication, or falsification is strictly prohibited.
2. Duties of Authors
Authors are responsible for:

Presenting community service activities honestly, accurately, and transparently, including objectives, methods, outcomes, and impact

Ensuring that community involvement is conducted ethically and responsibly

Disclosing any conflicts of interest, financial or otherwise

Cooperating in the peer review and revision process

3. Duties of Editors
Editors are responsible for:

Making editorial decisions based solely on academic merit, relevance to scope, originality, and contribution, independent of non-academic factors

Ensuring a fair, objective, and confidential peer review process

Preventing conflicts of interest between authors, reviewers, and editors

Maintaining editorial independence from the publisher

Taking responsive and appropriate action in cases of suspected ethical violations
4. Duties of Reviewers
Reviewers are responsible for:

Conducting reviews objectively, constructively, and professionally

Maintaining confidentiality of all manuscript information

Identifying ethical issues, plagiarism, or overlapping publications

Declaring any conflicts of interest and declining review when necessary

Providing recommendations that support the improvement of manuscript quality
5. Peer Review Integrity
JEMTRAMAS implements a double-blind peer review system involving at least two independent reviewers. Editorial decisions are made based on reviewers’ evaluations and academic considerations only.
6. Handling of Ethical Misconduct
In cases of suspected ethical misconduct, including plagiarism, redundant publication, or unethical community practices, the journal will:
